Wii is not just a Game Console but a get together fun with friends and family. All you need is the game console, remote; a controller, sensor bar and other accessories that come as a set and the latest games! You can also play games over the Internet with your friends using the "Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection" or the "Internet Channel".
So what is Wii Fit? It is an fitness videogame played on Wii by Nintendo. Wii Fit has exercise games to help you lose weight and to stay healthy. Now you can enjoy your fitness session and have fun at the same time; no longer need to leave the house or pay any subscription fee.
You can take body test, whereby the results without having the Game Disc by installing the games "Wii Fit Channel" to the "Wii's Menu". Wii Fit is not just fitness at home, but also sports at home or anywhere that you like.
There are 4 types of training. These trainings focus more on movements. These activities as almost the same as in real, just that you'll be doing them with Wii.
- Yoga: A traditional physical and mental discipline workout such as deep breathing, dance, palm tree, spinal twist, and shoulder stand.
- Strength training: Muscle training such as single leg extension, push-up challenge, torso twists, and rowing squat.
- Aerobics: Physical exercise with combination of rhythmic aerobics of stretching and strength training such as hula hoop, free step, free run, basic step, and rhythm boxing.
- Balance: Exercises of maintaining balance such as tightrope walk, soccer heading, ski jump, and penguin slide.
Wii Fit is suitable for all ages including nursing homes for gentle exercise such as yoga. You can do Wii Fit as long as you are mobile. And you will also need a Wii Balance Board; a nifty and sensitive device, and/or an USB game controller.
Some games that you should have are "The Biggest Loser", "Wii Fit Plus"; an upgrade version of Wii Fit, and "EA Sports Active".
