There came the dragons and dungeons, then followed host of toys, book series and cartoons dedicated to magic and fantasy and finally came magic the gathering. This is one of the greatest games which is little bit complicated with its version of ‘war'.
So what do you need to know about this game? First, you need to understand it' origin. It was introduced by Company Wizards of Coast in the year 1993, having been created by a mathematician Professor. MTG-magic the gathering is a kind of collectible card game.
What are the basic skills needed? You need to be able to count when playing magic the gathering. You also need to understand some of its basic rules which will help you not only to start the game but to win it against your opponent. Each game consists of battle between 2 wizards. Wizards in this case are referred to as Planeswalkers. To battle with each other, the Planeswalkers will use their monsters from the collected deck, magical items and spells. Although MTG may appear complicated somehow, considering the nature of most card games, the rules are somehow complex and seemingly limitless cards can be collected or played.
The game players can be two or more, with magic the gathering having tournaments for the online players. The tournaments a5rre increasingly becoming so popular that the elite players are being known to tour the tourney circuit, moving even ‘go pro'. This is not a joke; people are making money from this game. Others are converting is to a source of income for their livelihood.
Does magic the gathering have a limit in terms of age, especially to the children? This is a very common question, knowing very well that sometimes game cards can have both a positive and a negative attitude towards the minors, magic the gathering can be played by both the children and the adults. The benefits associated with the children playing the game by far outweigh parent's very concern of the children dealing with a fantasy kind of game. Nevertheless, it is also good to point out that like with any other kind of game, children should be given some limits, since it may make them addicted to it and this might have an adverse effect to doing other duties apart from laying magic the gathering. If the game is intended for social time management, then it is very recommendable to the young people. The memorizing of skills needed to win the game helps in improving the brains functionality of the children to not only capture the game but ease the mind in capturing other issues in life, among them the mathematical skills.
Magic the gathering has cards which are defiantly collectible ion that there are various types, ranging from common to the Very Rare. However, there is no need of raising concern for the rare ones since most markets are now dealing with them, and in fact is vigorously being traded on. Magic the gathering is a game for all people, all ages and all tribes-enjoy the game.
