R4I Sdhc Upgrade
The most usual issue that users know with the Nintendo R4 Card has in reality very little to do with the actual R4 DS Card itself. The original R4 DS was not designed to play in the new hardware of the Nintendo DSi. The Nintendo R4 menu system was made for the original NDS.
As speedily as workable, the R4 team upgraded and improved the new version of the R4 Card, the R4i SDHC Card was released with full compatibility for the Nintendo DSi and backwards compatibility enabling it to work with the original Nintendo DS and DS Lite. It is the authorized upgrade of the R4 DS. The R4i SDHC was created from the base up, specifically for use on the Nintendo DSi console. The menu system was re-written and support was supplied for the newest 1.4 version of the Nintendo DS firmware.
