Auditions for Disney Channel Series: How Do You Get Prepared?
Auditions for Disney channel series are some of the most popular things that many kids eye and wish they could become stars. However, things are never as easy as some of the children would like them to be. There are a lot of challenges that have to be conquered. The auditions for Disney channels have been immediate hits in the market. If you have a child aged between 10 and 17 years, you can send a video to the station to audition in the station. The following are some crucial steps you can put into consideration to be maximally prepared.
Accumulate as much skills as you can. Auditions for Disney channel series requires you to sing, act or demonstrate other kinds of skills such as dancing; as long as they will be impressive. You should look for as much skills as possible in any of the field you will want to compete. Competitors taking part in many of these auditions are multi talented and hence may overshadow you if you have fewer skills.
Prepare a good headshot and resume. You want the casting crew to have complete details about you. This can only be attained through ensuring that your resume has all the works you have done in the past well detailed. The headshot should be professionally taken and clear.
When attending auditions for Disney channels, let the clothes you are wearing look decent. Your physical appearance will tell a lot about you. If you are a man, avoid going to auditions with a t-shirt and a pair of jeans. Look for a pair of cotton pants and collared shirt. A tie can also be added sometimes. Ladies can wear a blouse and a skirt or a pair of slacks. When choosing a skirt, avoid wearing too short skirts especially if the presentation to be made will involve a lot of movements. This is because it might reveal even the unmentionables- obviously offending the casting crew and he audience does you a great disfavor.
Always arrive on time at the auditions for Disney channels. Let yourself have a break to rest. You should also try to relate well with other people you will get in the waiting room. Avoid the prince-like behaviors since these may not augur well with the casting crew in charge of watching the discipline of the participants of the event.
If there is a text that you have been told to learn when going to the auditions for Disney channel series, ensure that you have learnt them by heart. There are some teenagers who are too lazy to learn the texts and other basic tests required by Disney channel auditions in determining the most competent contestants and yet they are looking to emerge winners in the competition. You should at least be ready to do the basic needs to take you to the limelight.
Lastly, maintain confidence eve when the auditions seems to be deviating from the original definition. Clients are looking for the most versatile candidate and hence may just try to look at how smart you are to following the instructions offered.
