How do I put games on my TI 84 silver edition calculator??
I just bought a new TI 84 silver edition calculator and want to put games on it but when I go the website and download the games it tries to open it with Microsoft word. I was told I need to download the zip file but it is $20? Is there any way I can get good games on my calculator without having to buy anything?? I have the Usb Cable and have installed the program with the CD it came with, but I still can't get any games. Please help I would really appreciate it if someone would tell me how! Thank You!!!
First you need a program that runs the games. It's called mirageX or something like that. Games won't run on windows and it can't run without mirageX. So use the Transfer Cable and get that application from a friend.
Then I suggest you just get games from friends rather than online. It's much simpler. Then when you get to know you calculator, then go get games off websites. I think you just drag the game file you downloaded and drop into your calculator. Or there might be a sync software that lets you sync files into your calculator. But just check to make sure. Just to let you know, I tried before to get games off websites, but that process was confusing and most of the time if the game is not the right version for silver edition it won't work.
