When creating your own game how do you protect your game from memory cheat editors?
I am creating a game and I want to protect the integrity of the game by not allowing memory editors to be able to change the score health etc... Is there a way to program it as such?
So will it be protected against memory editors such as artmoney?

If your game is running in a normal environment then you have nothing to worry about. However, if it is running in a sandboxed environment, you'll need to encrypt the data somehow and have the code decrypt it for you. Here's a simple examle to show you the concept (but it's not the most secure thing you can come up with, it's for educational purposes only):

The idea is that code is much harder to analyze than data because it is made up of many assembly instructions. The more complex the code, the more difficult it is for a human to understand and the more time he/she will have to invest.
However, as long as the CPU can understand the instructions, so can a human - that will never change. Any game that you have installed locally is a potential victim. The most secure thing you can do is have a server do all the computations (this is typical of MMOs).
