Xbox 360 Premium Console - 229.99 ??? (HELP)?

I was thinking about getting an xbox 360 prmium console as all my mates have and they play online lots and the whole thing sounds quite fun plus those games look ace !!
But i have heard just as much bad as good with the xbox 360. I am actually scared to get one in case of ring of death or if it just breaks.
Ii can get a premium console off play.com for 229.00 delivered which seems great, but should i get it ????

You get a 3 year warranty from MS so you really have nothing to lose. If you're still scared that you're going to get a 360 that's going to break, see if the site offers an extended warranty.
If you want to extra safe, then get the 360 in the fall when the premium comes with the HDMI output. Also wait until the premium has the 65 nm chip. The premium with HDMI output has a new heat sink which is supposed to do a better job of keeping the 360 cooler. The 65 nm chip runs cooler than the 90 nm chip, so less heat will be produced.
