On the Wii console how do you get extra stuff for your Miis?

Okay, i just got my wii console hooked up to the internet, and downloaded the channel called ' Check Mii Out'. And i saw all of these other Miis with like ware-wolf faces, shark faces, bow ties, and dog faces. They look really cool and i was wondering if any one knew how to get them. thanks!
