What is the best drum set for heavy metal?
I want to buy a drum set for x-mas so i was wondering what was the best drum set for heavy metal
and, has double bass, plus under 1,000$ any suggestions?

Under $1000.00 will only get you what you're looking for at a music store, those guys like to rip your head off when it comes to good equipment. I made that mistake years ago. I've got a black double bass set of Tama's (Granstar series) with lots of Sabian cymbols. If I was gonna do it again now, I'd probably go with Ludwig and definately Zildian cymbols. You'll get a much better sound out of these two brands, especially for heavy metal. I'd also order the equipment on line. And last but not least, I'd go with the double kick pedal instead of the second bass drum, you'll be much faster on these versus 2 bass drums. ( DW pedals). But you'll never get this stuff for under $1000.00, wanna buy mine? They're huge, you'd love em and I've just grown out of them.
