Xcm Core

If i install the XCM v2 core cooler into my xbox 360 and hook it to the 12v disc drive via the instuctions?

Will it slow the disk drive down? And if so is it enough to get me kicked off of xbox live?

I would certainly look for other options if at all possible. Adding power draw to a system that is already potentially faulty may cause premature failure (rrod) or other hardware related errors. I am pretty sure that there are other options. I did ready where someone suggested a powered USB port along with a cooler that connects via USB that way you are using the Usb Power from the port and not from the Xbox. Good Luck
