Wireless Pelican Wii sensor bar help?
I bought a new sensor bar for the wii because my original one broke. The new sensor bar is a pelican wireless. It won't see the wii remote but it did once and I had to be a few inches away and try a bunch of diffrent angles till I got it can someone please tell me how I can fix this?
See, Nintendo lied (LAWL =P).
They said the Wiimote shoots IR beams into the Sensor Bar, then the Sensor Bar gives the data to the Wii.
Thats not how it goes.
The wireless Senosr Bar doesnt "sync" or "pair" with the Wii, so how does it know to send it to your Wii?
It doesnt. The Wiimote does.
The Sensor Bar sneds IR beams to the Wiimote. Then, the Wiimote sneds the data to the Wii via BlueTooth.
To answer your question, the Sensor Bar IR cover lenses are dirty,
OR,
the IR beam is not strong enough to get to the Wiimote. You cant trust 3rd party equipment.
