How to make my Microsoft wireless optical 3000 mouse to work?
Microsoft Wireless Optical Mouse 3000, brand new bought brom Office Max. I followed the instructions but nothing works! The battery was brand new and the lights were on, both the UBS port and the mouse itself but the pointer was motionless. Please help on how to get it to work.
I tried to go to microsoft.com/hardware but what shall I do once I got there, I'm so clueless.

I did pressed the buttons. I synchronized the thing. What else went wrong?
you need to synchronize the mouse and the receiver. Both have a tiny button with the word CONNECT next to it. You need to press it.
