Can someone please explain the movie Knight and Day to me?
I saw the movie Knight and Day tonight and it was very confusing. I enjoyed it because it was funny, but i really did not get the point of the movie and everything was just really confusing. Like why was his parents being tracked on his phone the whole time? If anyone could please explain the movie to me that would be great! thanks (:
I liked that movie too. But the point was just he was like a secret agent/spy and was protecting the zephyr and the boy- except the whole agency was against him because his co-worker (male, spy, forgot his name), who was after the zephyr, made him Tom Cruise seem like the bad guy when it was the opposite in reality. They were on a lookout for Tom Cruise and the Zephyr, were stalking him at the airport through video tapes, and Tom Cruise used Cameron Diaz as a mule to get the Zephyr through security. But then they thought she was his accomplice so they put her on the plane, equipped with spys from the agency trying to fight Cruise, with Tom Cruise and you know the rest.
His parents were being tracked because I think he was just keeping an eye on them. He was still emotionally attached to them and loved him (hence giving them all these gifts, like them randomly winning the lottery a couple of times and getting tickets to Cape Horn when neither of them remembered ever doing anything to get these things, it was from him all along) and wanted to never forget about them so he continually was watching them;; but he could never go back to them because he was supposed to not have any emotional ties to anyone anymore because he was a spy and that was a weakness. Plus his job required for his parents to think he was dead so they didnt have any clue about what he was actually upto.
