Can you still charge your controller with the play and charge kit while the xbox 360 is off?
I wanted to know can you charge your controller with the play and charge kit(wire) while the xbox 360 is off.does the xbox 360 have to be on in order to charge the controller?
I also wanted to know will it charge if I plug the play and charge kit into my usb port on my computer?
This is probably the best feature of the play and charge kit. Turn on your 360, attach the charge kit to your controller, wait for the red indicator light to turn on, and then you can turn OFF your 360 and your controller will still charge. So to answer your question, yes you can charge your controller while the 360 is off. Technically it's still on, you can hear a buzzing sound when you're charging it. Most of the time, and I have noticed it not do this for me sometimes, once the controller is fully charged, the 360 will completely turn off. (I do this at night before I go to bed so the controller is ready to go for the next day.. but sometimes i'll wake up in the middle of the night to pull the plug because the 360 is still charging the controller and making that buzzing noise.. keeps me up)
