Playback Control Error; Windows XP Sound Error//Need Help?
Hello, i'm trying to get my microphone to work.
However, when i go to the Microphone and Line-in options, their both muted.
When i unmute one, the other stays muted, and vise versa. This i think is preventing my microphone from working. Both can be muted at the same time, but both cannot be unmuted at the same time.
Anyone have a solution?

Go to settings/control panel/system/device manager
and delete the device and shut down. Reboot
and you should get the message "new device found" see
if windows can install it from the windows files.
If it is not there you will have to download the driver and install it manually.
