Is My R4 A Clone????????
I've had it for a while- 1- 2 years maybe.
It hasn't ever crashed or anything but i need to download YSMenu and i don't want to ruin mine if it is a clone.
I didn't get a box with it because somebody else bought it for us, i didn't get all the other stuff with it except for little blue Game Case.
At the front of it it just says - R4
Underneath R4 it says (in smaller writing) - Revolution for DS
and underneath that it says (in even smaller writing) - (NDSL/NDS)
Please could you let me know- or if there is any other downloading thing for YSMenu that is simple could you please let me know
Hi .. if you've owned the R4 for 1-2 years the most likely it is one of the original R4 cards. Another way to tell is the original R4 only takes a microSD up to 2GB.
Another way to tell is to download the original R4 firmware (v1.18) and if it works then your R4 is real. This R4 guide has downloads to all the R4 firmwares including R4DS Original.
